A weekend at the Olympic Pennisula

Jenny, Jackson, Aunt Sharon, Aunt Karen, Brandt and I spent this last weekend in Sequim on the Olympic Pennisula. Jenny, Jackson, Karen and Sharon almost didn't make it on the ferry Friday night, but thankfully after a five hour wait they were the second to last car to make it on. On Saturday we walked a trail down to the beach and enjoyed a nice walk along the coast. It was a cloudy day so we weren't able to see much, but it was nice to get to spend some time walking along the water. Unfortunately we forgot to bring a camera, but Brandt was able to snap one shot from his cell. It was wonderful to get to spend the weekend with Aunt Sharen and Karen. It is alway a treat for all of us when they are able to come out for a visit.

Mariner's Game with the fam

Mom, Dad, Jenny, Jackson, Aunt Sharon, Aunt Karen, Ben, Brandt, and I all went to the Mariner's game last night. It was quite a trip for the Oak Harbor group, but it really fun for us to have our whole family together for the night. Although the Mariner's were able to pull off the 'W' Brandt missed Adam Jones home run :( Oh well, there's always next season.
PS - My favorite picture is the one of my mom and Jackson. Gotta love that smile!

Babysitting at Ben's

Ben, Brandt and I spent last Sunday afternoon babysitting Jackson and Payton while Jenny, Andy, Erika and Aaron went to the Seahawks game. With two babies and a puppy we had quite a busy (and fun) afternoon. I thought this picture was pretty cute!

Introducing Tucker!

We would like to introduce Ben's new puppy Tucker! Ben went and picked Tucker up from a farm in Centralia yesterday. He is a 10 week old golden retriever puppy. Tucker is quite the cuddler. He spent most of last night trying to wiggle his way into any lap he could find. So cute!

Mmmm.....Blackberry Pie!

Brandt and I picked blackberries in Edmonds on our Monday off. Check out the train going by behind Brandt. I just happened to be up near the track picking berries when the sound of the horn sent me running for the beach. My goal was to make a blackberry pie before the end of summer. Just barely made it, but the result was worth the wait. I love Blackberry pie!
